Microsoft 365 - Microsoft Live - Microsoft Outlook Login and Password Confusion Hello I am a little confused about 365/Live/Outlook logins and passwords. I have a "Microsoft Live" account (and I have an Office Pro subscription). Yesterday, for the first time, I created an Outlook account (never had one before as far as I know or remember)
Microsoft 365 - Microsoft Live - Microsoft Outlook Login and Password ...
Outlook prompts for school or work account login instead of personal Microsoft 365 Family credentials. When Outlook requests a school or work account, it often means the profile is misconfigured. Remove existing Outlook profiles via Control Panel > Mail, then recreate using your Microsoft 365 Family account.
What does work? As long as you restrict yourself in Outlook to the signed-in user everthying works fine. You are never presented with requirements to login when you roam to another VM. Seems logic as SSO kicks in if Outlook should need authentication. What doesn't work? The trouble starts when you add a second O365 account to Outlook.
