1 To maximize a window, drag the title bar up to the top of the display until you see the transparent fill screen animation in the background, and release to maximize the window. 2 To restore a maximized window, drag the title bar down until the window shrinks, and release to restore the window.
And there is nothing that I can to to maximize to full screen. This happens with any new or saved .doc or .docx files. PDFs and Excel files open fine with no problems I tried to repair Word from the install disk, and even uninstalled then reinstalled the whole Office suite, but nothing has worked to solve this problem.
But If I maximize the program window before minimizing to the taskbar, then the program might fail to restore when clicking on the programs icon in the taskbar!? So it appears there is still an issue with restoration with this (and some other programs) from the taskbar! Currently looking into this issue further.
any shortkey or 3rd party software to either: 1. maximize all open windows or 2. open all new windows maxmized
In Windows 10, the only way I can move a maximized window is if I restore down it first, then move it and re-maximize it. It was because I had Aero Snap disabled.
